On November 10, 2024, Dubai hosted Russian Design Forum 2, a unique international platform for designers and architects organized to share experiences and establish professional connections. The event brought together leading designers, architects, manufacturers and suppliers, as well as recognized industry experts. The forum was an important milestone in the development of the professional community and emphasized the influence of Russian interior design professionals in the Emirates. The next forum will be held in 2025, as promised by the head of the organizing team Olga Melnikova.

Russian Design Forum 2 took place with the participation of 500 Russian-speaking professionals, where the professional design community DUBADESINT played a key role. The event was held in one of the best hotels in Dubai – St.Regis. The forum united talented designers and architects, gave them the opportunity to exchange ideas, familiarize themselves with the latest trends and discuss the key challenges facing the industry.
Representatives of major brands such as Ledder, NOURFIX, Arteshock Textile’s, ATIS&ALTERNA, RARARES Gallery, Huda Lighting Showroom, EKINEX.RU, DÉCOROOM, ALEDIM spoke at the forum. Special attention was paid to innovations in sustainable design, new materials and technologies, as well as trends in creating space for living and working. The information partner was the international magazine SALON-interior – an indispensable resource and prestigious publication in the field of architecture and design.
Russian Design Forum 2 not only became an important event for knowledge exchange, but also a platform for presentation of new collections of furniture, finishing materials and design solutions. The leading brands of the industry presented their products at the forum exhibition, demonstrating the latest innovations and developments that meet the most modern requirements of quality and design.
One of the highlights of the event were the speeches of invited speakers. Among them – famous Russian and international designers and builders, such as Alexey Gorbachev, Alexey Dorozhkin, Alyona Gorskaya, Sergey Kodolov, as well as a famous blogger Ekaterina Odintsova. The headliner of the forum was Karim Rashid, one of the world’s most famous designers who has collaborated with renowned fashion designers and brands. Each of them shared his unique view on modern design, talked about trends in the design environment, and also shared their experience of project development.
