Rafiah Ibrahim, president of Ericsson, Region Middle East and Africa, said: “It’s exciting to see Oman’s accomplishments in driving fibre-to-the-home adoption throughout the Sultanate.”

“As we drive our Networked Society vision, our aim is to collaborate with operators throughout the region to drive industry transformation through infrastructure upgrades and the introduction of new technologies. Our participation in FTTH allowed us to showcase the best practices of our smart city technologies that are directly in-line with Oman’s 2020 vision,” she added.
