BBK announces the appointment of Retail Banking AGM

BBK recently announced new appointments in its Executive Management as part of the new organization structure. Amongst those, the Bank welcomed on board Dr. Adel Salem, as Assistant General Manager – Retail Banking Division, succeeding to Mr. Mohammed Malik, who has been appointed as Deputy Chief Executive and Head of Banking  Group.

Dr. Adel Salem has an extensive experience spanning over 30 years in Banking and Telecoms Industry. He has held executive positions in leading organizations in Bahrain, last of which the role of Deputy General Manager at Benefit Company. Dr. Adel is a holder of a PhD Degree in Management from Monarch Business School – Switzerland.

Upon the announcement, Mr. Reyadh Sater, BBK’s Chief Executive was delighted of the new appointment and expressed the Bank’s commitment to nurture qualified Bahrainis who have all the expertise and capabilities to assume leadership positions in the Bank.

“Dr. Adel Salem’s extensive expertise will be of great value to BBK Retail Division. I’m confident he will ensure that the Bank continues on its path of success and that the retail banking continues to lead within the sector and stays at the forefront of the latest advancement in the field.“ commented Mr. Reyadh Sater. He also seized the opportunity to welcome onboard Dr Adel and wish him success and growth at BBK.

On the other hand Dr. Adel Salem thanked the Bank’s management for their confidence in entrusting him one of BBK’s core business. “I’m very proud to be joining a leading organization such as BBK, who has been able to set a benchmark and raise the bar with pioneering products and services;  revolutionary financial malls, innovative banking solutions, services extended to special needs, to name a few.”
