Book your spot to watch a screening of the films L’Échappée (2016) and A Present from the Past (2015) at Warehouse 421, in collaboration with Cinema Akil. L’Échappée, directed by Hamid Saidji and Jonathan Mason, is a kaleidoscopic journey through the streets of Algiers, in Hocine Filali’s ramshackle taxi (pictured). In A Present from the Past, Mokhtar, a filmmaking professor, receives an unexpected present on his 75th birthday from his daughter, Kawthar, a filmmaker in her early-20s.

See the exhibition Homage Without An Homage.
