Get tickets for Laugh-a-Thon and catch the final two shows of the urban comedy series featuring top comedians from India. At 7pm, Abish Mathew (pictured) will present his set, with original songs and silent, one-man sketches. At 9pm, Zakir Khan will perform his new-era slapstick comedy that takes on themes of adulthood, dating and family. Mathew performs in English and Khan in Hindi.

Register to take part in a 101 Talk as part of Alserkal Programming. Sven Mueller, of the architecture and design studio SVENM, and Basmah El Bittar, head of community relations at Alserkal Avenue, will explore the effect of websites such as Pinterest and Instagram on design. They will discuss the change in design process, the fun of constructed worlds, and how to turn mood-boards into reality. Participants are encouraged to send over their Instagram handles and Pinterest boards in advance to get the most from the event.

Documentary Drawings of the Kafr Qasem Massacre by Samia Halaby features a series of drawings from a long-standing project that depicts the murders of 49 Palestinian civilians by Israeli border guards in 1956. The images were created after more than a decade of research by Halaby, including interviews with survivors and relatives, translated documents and gathered images. The Bruce High Quality Foundation art collective – who call themselves the Bruces – present The Second Coming, an exhibition featuring a central sculpture of Joan of Arc surrounded by paintings of grey images of birds that reference the poem The Second Coming by William Butler Yeats.
