Film screening

Register to attend today’s screening of three short films by Emirati filmmaker Nujoom Alghanem. It will be held in conjunction with the NYU Abu Dhabi exhibition But We Cannot See Them: Tracing a UAE Art Community, 1988-2008. Family fun

Catch a performance of Adventures in Candyland at Yas Mall as part of the Spring Festival. The show, inspired by the story Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, features a world of chocolates and sweets. Performances will take place at Town Square, plus roaming performances throughout the mall. There is also a chance to win prizes in the Shop & Win promotion, with the finale draw at 7.30pm on Friday.

Art workshop

Sign up to take part in a workshop with French artist Claude Guénard and learn the collage technique to create your own work of art using images from magazines. Guénard, known for his fashion collage art, will be exhibiting his work at Alliance Française from April 11 to May 8. The class is open to artists of all levels and spaces are limited.
