I forget where I read or saw this, but a college student turned into the professor a paper which had been clearly plagiarized. The professor recognized the paper was plagiarized and did the requisite research to back up her assertions. When confronted, the student admitted it was not original work and stated something along the lines of, “I should have known it was plagiarized when I bought it…”
