Dubai-based ride hailing app Careem has introduced free Wi-Fi on all its business class cars.
Customers using the car service will be able to connect to Wi-Fi via a passcode from the driver, enabling them to catch up with emails, surf the internet or check in with social media, according to the firm.
The free Wi-Fi is part of the company’s plan to enhance its customer experience in the UAE. It includes several benefits including the Dubai Taxi booking option on the Careem app and a collaboration with Emirates Skywards that allow customers to earn miles on their Careem trips.
Its Careem Max service also allows customers to take their sporting equipment, such as bikes, on board.
Careem operates across the UAE, with car services extending to emirates such as Ajman and Ras Al Khaimah.
