Counsel of Maryam Nawaz submits reply in SC on Panama Papers Case – Radio Pakistan (press release)

Supreme Court has adjourned the hearing of Panama case till tomorrow [Tuesday].

Shahid Hamid, the counsel of Maryam Nawaz, submitted reply of his client before the court today containing details of assets and taxes paid by her on agriculture and non agriculture income.

The reply says that Maryam Nawaz is not dependent on her father since her marriage.

The counsel said that the spouse of Maryam Nawaz also pays his taxes regularly.

Later talking to media Minister for Defense Khawaja Asif said that politics of PTI Chairman Imran Khan will come to an end following the judgment on Panama papers case.

He said politics of Imran Khan is not based on principles rather aimed at remaining in the media.

Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique said that PTI is doing politics in Panama Papers case.

He suggested that instead of doing negative politics, Imran Khan should work towards bringing electoral reforms.
