Crash on Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai causes morning traffic jams

DUBAI // Multiple accidents on some of the emirate’s main routes caused delays during the commute on Wednesday morning.

Two separate accidents on Sheikh Zayed Road near the Al Manara Road interchange resulted in extensive queues near Mall of the Emirates.

Elsewhere, an accident on Hessa Street caused delays from the Al Asayal Street exit in the direction of Al Khail Road.

There were also the usual traffic hotspots and delays on the Dubai – Sharjah Road in both directions.

Gridlock on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road from the National Paints interchange all the way to Mirdif City Centre was also reported.

There were no reports of accidents in Abu Dhabi and roads in the capital were not experiencing any delays.​
