Dnata Unveils State-of-the-Art Logistics Hub in Dubai South

Dnata Logistics has launched a $27 million facility in Dubai South to strengthen its supply chain services in the region. This development aligns with the growing demand for advanced logistics and supply chain solutions in the UAE, particularly in the aviation and cargo sectors. The facility, spanning 20,000 square meters, is equipped with cutting-edge technology, including automated storage and retrieval systems and advanced temperature-controlled zones, catering to diverse industries such as pharmaceuticals, perishables, and e-commerce.

The new hub integrates dnata’s commitment to innovation, efficiency, and sustainability. It features solar panels and energy-efficient designs, reinforcing the company’s environmental objectives. Strategically located near Al Maktoum International Airport, the facility enhances the company’s operational capabilities, facilitating seamless import, export, and transit cargo handling. Guillaume Crozier, Senior Vice President of UAE Cargo at dnata, highlighted that the facility represents a significant step in delivering value-added solutions to customers and partners, emphasizing digital transformation and sustainability.

This expansion comes as part of dnata’s broader efforts to bolster the UAE’s position as a global logistics hub. The company’s collaboration with Dubai South aims to enhance efficiency and connectivity within the logistics corridor, integrating its systems with Dubai South’s smart gate mechanisms to streamline cargo processing.
