It is easy for a restaurant at Atlantis The Palm to get lost among all the hustle and bustle of the resort.
Hence, why it is a shrewd move for Gordon Ramsey’s Bread Street Kitchen to be part of Dubai Restaurant Week.
Diners can get a chance to appreciate some of the underrated dishes on offer.
One thing about Bread Street Kitchen is the dishes have personality.
All the ones I tried have an ample amount of flavour and there is a sense that they are truly cooked to order.
It is winter so I can’t go past the soup when it comes to the starter. The English pea soup with lobster was deliciously creamy and thankfully had none of the grainy texture associated with peas. The lobster meat was generous in size and added a welcome zest to the dish.
My favourite dish of the evening, however, truly surprised me.
Who would have thought out of all the offerings at Bread Street Kitchen, the pasta would be the highlight?
What elevates things here is the simplicity. The pasta is fresh, superbly cooked and has a thick texture, perfect for the butter and garlic sauce. The chunks of lobster paired with chilli and parsley give this dish a welcome kick. It is hearty and delicious.
Talking about hearty, please save some room for the decadent desert that is banana sticky pudding , muscovado caramel with clotted creme.
An espresso is immediately required as all that sweet gooey goodness may send you to sleep after the third bite.
