Islamic Leaders Urge Action on Gaza Humanitarian Crisis

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) concluded its 15th summit in Banjul, Gambia, with a strong condemnation of the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza. The leaders of Muslim-majority nations expressed deep concern over the situation, which they say has been exacerbated by “unflinching Israeli aggression” for more than six months.

The OIC summit’s declaration called for urgent action to address the dire conditions in Gaza. The member states demanded an “immediate and unconditional ceasefire” to end the violence and allow for the delivery of vital humanitarian aid.
