New attorney general of Abu Dhabi named

ABU DHABI // A new attorney general and acting judicial deputy have been announced.

After a decree by the President, Sheikh Khalifa, Mohammed Al Balushi has been appointed attorney general of Abu Dhabi. Mr Al Balushi was formerly the military attorney general.

Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, appointed Yousef Al Ibri as acting deputy of the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department.

Mr Al Ibri, 50, was previously attorney general.
