This milestone season, themed “Looking Back and Looking Forward,” showcases 55 performances that promise to captivate audiences with a blend of returning favorites and fresh debuts.

Kicking off on September 5, the season opens with *Sol Invictus*, a unique performance by the French dance company Cie. Hervé Koubi, which seamlessly integrates elements of ballet and hip-hop. This is just the beginning of a series of performances that will include both world premieres and UAE debuts, underscoring the center’s role as a vibrant hub for contemporary arts in the region.

Throughout its decade-long journey, The Arts Center has established itself as a platform for innovative artistic expression, commissioning 46 new works and presenting 20 world premieres. Notably, this season will feature the world premiere of *Hamour Doesn’t Leave the Cubicle*, a new work by NYUAD alumna Reem Almenhali, alongside other performances that highlight the talents of NYUAD alumni.

The center’s programming for this season is designed to cater to a wide range of artistic tastes, offering everything from contemporary dance and music to theater and visual arts. Audiences can expect performances from globally renowned artists such as Gaye Su Akyol, Cimafunk, and KOKOKO!, as well as the return of the acclaimed Trisha Brown Dance Company, which will present a mix of new and iconic works.

As the Arts Center embarks on its 10th season, it continues to solidify its reputation as a beacon of cultural and artistic excellence in Abu Dhabi, bringing together local talent and international stars in a celebration of creativity and innovation.
