Shahid Hamid has told the court that his client responded to the allegations in her interview.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Maryam Nawaz’s counsel Shahid Hamid on Thursday has told the court that PM Nawaz brought land on his daughter’s name and transferred it after the payment of money.

A five-member larger bench headed by Justice Asif Saeed Khosa resumed the hearing of Panama Leaks case. Other judges in the bench include Justice Ejaz Afzal Khan, Justice Gulzar Ahmed, Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed and Justice Ijaz-ul-Ahsan.

During the hearing, Justice Ejaz asked how can the premier transferred land to Maryam Nawaz when it was already purchased on her name.

Meanwhile, Justice Khosa inquired about when Hussain Nawaz gave money to Nawaz Sharif as a girft and when the PM transferred it to his daughter.

SC bench asked about the source of the earnings either than gifts over which the lawyer said that Maryam Nawaz has shares in different companies.

Shahid Hamid has told the court that his client responded to the allegations in her interview.

The lawyer said that married woman is not dependent of her parents over which the court remarked that the definition of dependent is different in every case.
