The E45 will be closed to the public for cyclists taking part in the Abu Dhabi Tour on Thursday, October 20.
The motorway connecting Liwa to Madinat Zayed and some internal roads in the two cities will be closed between 12pm and 5.15pm as cyclists complete the first stage of the cycling tour.
The cyclists will begin their race in Madinat Zayed, travelling down the E45 to reach Liwa before circling around the city and returning to their starting point.
