Motorists are being advised that diversions will be in place on Ibn Battuta Street to carry out works related to Route 2020 Project.
Maitha bin Adai, CEO of RTA’s Traffic and Roads Agency, said: “One lane of Ibn Battuta Street will be closed in the sector between Intersection two and Intersection six. The diversion will remain in place until the completion of the works required.
“RTA has mapped out a plan for traffic diversions required for Route 2020 Project, which will be implemented in phases covering all areas through which the route passes.”
Works on Route 2020 will run round the clock until the completion of the entire works of the Project.
