DUBAI // People planning to fly out of Dubai International Airport on Friday have been urged to allow extra time for their journey as nearby road work is likely to cause delays.

Passengers departing between 2am and 1pm were the most likely to be affected.

The delays are due to construction work being carried out by the Roads and Transport Authority at the junction of Marrakech Street and Airport Road.

There is the potential for disruption to traffic in and around Airport Road heading west and east, as well as near the EK Group Headquarters and Terminal 3.
