Sharjah girl dies from injuries after quad bike crash

SHARJAH // A teenage girl has died after the quad bike she was on crashed on the way to school.

The 13-year-old student from a private school in the emirate died of head injuries sustained in the crash in Al Seyouh.

Police said the girl was taken to Al Qasimi Hospital, where she died in intensive care, reported Aletihad, the Arabic-language sister paper of The National.

It is believed the accident happened last week. It has not been disclosed if the girl was the driver or a passenger on the quad-bike.
