Sheikh Khalifa calls on all Muslims in the UAE to pray for rain

ABU DHABI // President Sheikh Khalifa has called for a prayer for rain, known as Salaat Al Istisqaa, to be performed in all mosques and musallahs across the country at 7:30am on Tuesday.

The Ruler of the UAE called on all Muslims living in the country to pray to Allah to bless the land with rain and mercy, in accordance with the Prophet Mohammed’s Sunnah Course.

Forecasters predict mostly sunny skies on Sunday with temperatures between 11°C and 24°C expected across the country.

Light to moderate winds will keep conditions chilly as slight humidity sets in overnight, causing potential fog on Monday morning.

Seas will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and Sea of Oman.
