Sheikh Mohammed has Al Ain FC fans flown to South Korea for Asian Champions League final

ABU DHABI // An aircraft has been chartered to fly Al Ain FC supporters to the first leg of the Asian Champions League final against South Korea’s Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors on Saturday.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, requested the airplane to take the fans to the city of Jeonju as part of the leadership’s support for sporting clubs’ participation in international tournaments.

Sheikh Mohammed wished the Al Ain club players, management and technical teams good luck, adding that he hoped that they would achieve more victories for UAE football.

The second leg of the final takes place a week later at Al Ain’s Hazza bin Zayed Stadium.
