Sheikh Mohammed issues law to bolster Dubai judiciary

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, has issued a law to reinforce the independence of the Dubai Judicial Authority.

The law aims to uphold civil rights, liberties and the rule of law, reported state news agency Wam.

It will also maintain the transparency, fairness and efficiency of the judicial system.
