“There is a collision of ten cars on the road towards Dubai from Abu Dhabi and it has led to huge traffic jam. There is heavy fog today,” a motorist on his way to Dubai said.

Many accidents have been reported on Ras Al Khor/Al Khail Road after Dubai Mall exit, according to @TrafficDXB.

Dubai Police twitter account has not tweeted about the accidents.

Separately, the UAE Met department said there will be continuity of fog formation and poor visibility of 500 metres at times over most of the internal and coastal areas of the country.
