Tencent Cloud Establishes Middle East Foothold with Saudi Arabia Data Centers

Tencent Cloud has unveiled plans to launch its inaugural Middle East Cloud Region in Saudi Arabia, marking a pivotal expansion in the company’s global infrastructure. Announced at the LEAP 2025 technology summit in Riyadh, the new cloud region will encompass two availability zones, each designed with full redundancy to ensure robust and reliable services. The strategic move includes an investment exceeding $150 million over the forthcoming years, underscoring Tencent Cloud’s commitment to bolstering the Kingdom’s burgeoning digital economy. This expansion will integrate Saudi Arabia into Tencent Cloud’s extensive global network, which currently comprises over 50 availability zones across 21 regions.
