Hey, you guys! More adventures are about to unfold in LEGO Dimensions because the Goonies are coming.
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced on Thursday that The Goonies expansion pack for LEGO Dimensions will be released on May 9.
In The Goonies Level Pack, gamers are on the mission to help Sloth and Chunk escape from the Fratelli hideout so that they can join the boys on their quest to find One Eyed Willy’s treasure.
Of course what is The Goonies content without the infamous truffle shuffle? The Chunk character has the ability to do his signature move in the game, whereas Sloth can use Super Strength to smash through walls.
After completing the level, the gamer will be able to replay as any of the seven Goonies as they solve puzzles and unlock more treasure in the multiverse.
Minifigures that come with this pack include Sloth, the One-Eyed Willy’s Pirate Ship, which can sail on water and can also be built into the Fanged Fortune and the Inferno Cannon in the game, and the Skeleton Organ which has Sonar Smash abilities and can also be built into the Skeleton Jukebox and Skele-Turkey for additional gameplay capabilities.

Sloth unlocks a new Battle Arena, along with an Adventure World, which features Mikey’s House, Inferno Cove and the Goon Docks.
The Goonies Level Pack is just one of the three new packs as part of wave 8. Also available on May 9 will be the new Harry Potter Fun Pack that stars Hermione and the LEGO City Fun Pack.
The Harry Potter Fun Pack comes with a Hermione Granger minifigure, with the character having the ability to cast spells to levitate objects and light up dark places in the game.
This character unlocks the Harry Potter Battle Arena, as well as the Adventure World where Hogwarts, Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley can all be explored.
The vehicle in this pack is the rebuildable Buckbeak the Hippogriff that has a Stomp Attack that can smash Silver LEGO bricks. It can also be built into the Giant Owl and the Fierce Falcon.
The LEGO City Fun Pack features a Chase McCain minifigure that can become a Miner to break Silver LEGO bricks or a Fireman that is equipped with a Water Beam to put out fires.
This pack’s Adventure World features Blackwell’s moon base and the LEGO City Police Department.
The vehicle in this pack is the Police Helicopter that can be built to fire off bolts, then rebuild it into the Police Hovercraft and Police Plane for additional abilities.
The wave 8 expansion packs joins other brands like Ghostbusters and DC Comics, along with the LEGO Batman Movie and Knight Rider packs that will be released on Feb. 10.
LEGO Dimensions is available for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and the Wii U.
