UAE Emirate Of Sharjah Travel Guide: All You Need To Know

If you want to experience the United Arab Emirates from a different side and fully immerse yourself in the real Arab culture, then you should visit the Emirate of Sharjah. Sharjah is an emirate of the UAE, which is the complete opposite of Dubai. It is not intended for entertaining tourist trips, but by coming here, you can learn about Arab culture and get to know it better. It is a real cultural capital of the state with many tourist attractions and interesting places.

Sharjah is located almost next to Dubai, the border is only a road junction, divided vertically into two parts. By the way, in case of a traffic accident, the police of both emirates will come to the scene at once. Sharjah includes several exclaves such as Khor Fakkan, Kalba’, and Dibba Al-Hisn.

The climate of Sharjah is quite mild, and this is one of the reasons why tourists love this Emirate very much. So, in winter the temperature usually does not fall below 10-15 degrees, even at night. But in summer it can be unbearably hot here, sometimes the thermometer shows 40 degrees, and that’s in the shade! So if you decide to go here in the warm season, be careful and travel on foot in the morning or evening hours to avoid getting heat stroke.

The easiest, fastest, and most convenient way to get to Sharjah is, of course, by plane. The international airport of this emirate is located just 15 minutes from the center, and there are regular shuttle buses to the city, but if you want you can use the services of cab drivers, although such a trip will cost more.

Where To Stay In Sharjah?

Hotels in Sharjah are always welcome, and since the UAE is considered the richest state, vacations in which any tourist will seem chic, most of them belong to the category of 5 stars. Only about 10 hotels are located on the shore of the Persian Gulf, three – on the shore of the Gulf of Khaled, the rest are located in the city, which is not very convenient, because the beaches will have to somehow get to the beaches. Surprisingly, there is no public transport in Sharjah. Therefore, tourists have to rent cars or use the services of cab drivers.

If you decide to visit Sharjah, then first learn some rules of behavior in this Emirate, as non-compliance can be punishable. For example, if a tourist decides to take a photo, he should be extremely careful and cautious. Taking pictures in public places (including restaurants or stores) is allowed only with the consent of the manager. Since gambling in Sharjah and United Arab Emirates is illegal and can lead to imprisonment, stay away from playing online casino games (play reactoonz slot, etc.) when staying there.
