A respite from recent stormy weather is likely on Tuesday across much of the UAE with a dry day in prospect, although drivers ae being warned to be aware of fog and mist patches that could accumulate overnight and into Wednesday.
It is expected to be cloudy for much of the day with sunny spells. Temperatures in Dubai and the Northern Emirates are expected to reach 26°C. It will be slightly warmer in Abu Dhabi at 28°C, with moderate northerly winds reaching 20 kmph.
A buildup of clouds may increase the chance of a light shower through the late afternoon, especially in northern and western areas and islands, with overnight temperatures forecast to be slightly cooler.
Sea conditions will be moderate in the Arabian Gulf, although the Oman Sea is likely to be rough with a build up of clouds and an increased chance of a rain shower.
The relative humidity will increase overnight and into early morning, with mist and fog formation over some internal and western areas.
Morning traffic was running freely in Dubai, although a broken down vehicle in Abu Dhabi was causing delays on Zayed the 1st Street and Sheikh Zayed Street towards Al Zahiya.
