UAE weather: High humidity by the coast with sunshine set to stay

ABU DHABI // The weather across the country will be fair, partly cloudy and windy on Monday.

The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology said relative humidity is expected to rise by night and early Tuesday morning over some coastal and interior areas.

Temperatures are expected to reach a high of 40°C with a low of 18°C in the interior, while the coastal areas will only be slightly cooler, recording a high of 35°C with a low of 17°C.

It will not be much cooler in the mountains either, with highs of 30°C forecast.

Humidity levels will increase to 95 per cent in coastal areas, and will hover between 70 and 95 per cent inland, and between 40 and 60 per cent in the mountains.

Seas will be moderate in the Arabian Gulf and in the Sea of Oman.

Similar sunny conditions are expected for the next two days. Fog and mist may form over some coastal areas.
