UAE weather: rain falls over parts of the country, with more expected

ABU DHABI // Rain fell over parts of the country on Sunday with forecasters expecting more light showers throughout the day.

Conditions across the country will be partly cloudy with a chance of rain over Abu Dhabi island as well as in northern and eastern coastal areas.

The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology said moderate winds are also expected.

Humidity will increase overnight and early into Monday morning, reaching 85 per cent along the coast and 90 per cent in land.

Temperatures along the coast are expected to peak at 27°C and dip to 14°C, while ranging between 7°C and 28°C inland.

Waters will be moderate to rough in the Arabian Gulf and Sea of Oman.
