UAE weather: temperatures continue to drop

ABU DHABI // Temperatures will decrease significantly over some areas of the country on Tuesday, according to forecasters.

Coastal areas will see highs of 32°C and lows of 21°C, while a range of 34°C and 18°C is forecast inland. In the mountains temperatures will peak at 25°C, dropping as low as 14°C in the evening.

The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology issued a warning about mist over the Abu Dhabi — Al Ain Road and around Khalifa University in the capital on Tuesday morning.

Strong winds over the Arabian Sea and Sea of Oman, reaching 50 kph offshore, are expected to cause rough to very rough conditions at sea.

Similar conditions are forecast for the rest of the week.
