UAE weather: Temperatures to rise with chance of rain in the east

Hazy conditions with some cloud is expected across the UAE during the forthcoming days with a slight increase in temperatures starting from Wednesday.

The National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) said convective clouds will develop over eastern and mountainous areas by this afternoon, with a chance of rain at times.

Temperatures will range between 27°C and 39°C in Abu Dhabi and 29°C and 38°C in Dubai. In the mountains, temperatures will peak at 20°C and fall to 17°C.

On Wednesday, conditions will be similar, but with a slight increase in temperatures to reach 41°C in Abu Dhabi and 40°C in Dubai. ​

The wind will be generally light to moderate, freshening by afternoon and causing blowing dust over exposed areas.

Relative humidity is likely to increase during the night and early tomorrow morning over coastal areas with a possibility of fog.

The Arabian Gulf may become rough at times during the day, while the Oman Sea will be slight to moderate.

Skies are expected to be clear during the upcoming weekend with low humidity on Friday and Saturday.
