UAE weather: Warning of rising temperatures and humidity across the country

ABU DHABI // Residents are warned to take precaution as temperatures and humidity levels continues to rise across the country.

Sea conditions in the Arabian Gulf may become rough by the afternoon and evening, according to the National Centre for Metrology and Seismology.

The relative humidity will increase during the night and into early morning, and mist may form over some coastal areas, the bureau said. The mercury may reach up to 44°C in internal parts with the maximum humidity of 85 per cent.

The humidity level may reach up to 90 per cent in the coastal areas, where temperature are expected to reach 40°C.

In the mountains, it will be relatively pleasant with a maximum temperature up to 32°C and 60 per cent humidity.

The wind speed would be light to moderate freshening at times over the sea. It may not rise beyond 35kph across country. In the mountains and internal parts of the country, the average wind speed would be 25kph.

Along the coast, the average wind speed would be 30kph.
