What has Ramlala in Ayodhya to do with Mumtaz Khan in Purulia? The question seems to be absurd and ridiculous on the surface, but when the Chief Priest of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Pujya Acharya Satyendra Das, recalls Mumtaz Khan while consecration rituals are under way, the question become important.
The Chief Priest has opted to divert himself from Ramlala in Ayodhya to Mumtaz Khan in connection of a crime in Purulia, only to hit out at Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee. BJP has also linked the crime to TMC, which makes the picture of Ram Temple politics complete. They have more to do with “Mumtaz Khan” rather than “Ramlala” on the eve of Lok Sabha election 2024.
Injecting politics into consecration of Ramlala has already been termed as defiling of the deity, while both the Chief Priest and his yajman PM Narendra Modi has been alleged to complete the desecration by beginning rituals at religiously prohibited time of Khadmas in Hindu tradition. Chief priest of Ram Temple at Ayodhya has been severely criticized for a fortnight now on his being turning into a pawn in the hands of RSS-BJP clan, led by PM Narendra Modi, who will not only be performing consecration ceremony in a structure under construction, considered to be blemished until it is complete in any religion whatsoever, but also inaugurating it on January 22, when the temple is yet under construction.
Both the yajman (PM Narendra Modi) and the chief priest Acharya Satyendra Das are being boycotted by all the four Shankaracharyas and many Hindu saints, who believe that they are actually desecrating the deity and going against Hindu Shastras for their perceived political benefit during the forthcoming Lok Sabha General Election.
PM Narendra Modi is merely a Yajman, and may not be knowing the Sanatan Dharma, but for the violation of the religious rules the chief priest is held guilty. No wonder, the attention of the Chief Priest, is more on defending himself, rather than devotion to Ramlala. The incident of crime in Purulia, in which three sadhus were assaulted, gave him enough material to divert people’s attention from his own fault, and the fault of RSS-BJP clan playing politics and dividing even Hindu saints and various sects.
For example, they said that the temple was of Ramanand sect, and it had nothing to do with other sects, such as Shaiva’s and Shakts. It was outrightly condemnable and subsequently criticized. People asked if the temple is of Ramanand sect and other sects of Hinduism have nothing to with this, why they have brought priest from Varanasi and elsewhere? There politics have already been exposed which is termed as defilement of the religious occasion.
Everybody knows how the RSS-BJP clan has been playing communal politics in the country, and how their hate politics cost hundreds of lives, especially of both Hindus and Mulsims. However, the Chief Priest was least expected to further their hate politics. In the Purulia incident, sadhus were not assaulted by Muslims, but Hindus. Why then the Chief Priest should bring in Muslim name “Mumtaz Khan” in the picture?
A case has been initiated on the complaint by the Sadhus, and 12 people have already been arrested, and investigation is underway as per the information given by the Superintendent of Police Avijit Banerjee. He said that sadhus were travelling in a car when they stopped near three girls heading for a local Kali Mandir for offering prayer and asked them something, which was perhaps misunderstood due to language problem. The girls thought the sadhus were following them, and thereafter a mob intercepted the vehicle, vandalized it and assaulted the sadhus.
Now see the Ramlala chief priest, who not only spoke on the incident but also said pointed to the past attacks that the Chief Minister “gets angry when she sees the “Bhagwacolour”. “Someone had given the name Mumtaz Khan to Mamata Banerjee. Attacks have happened on processions on Ram Navami and other religious procession,” he said adding “… she makes these attacks happen … .”
The politics of the RSS-BJP clan has come in the out through BJP’s channel itself, through its IT cell. Amit Malaviya of the cell has claimed, “In Mamata Banerjee’s regime, a terrorist like Shahjahan Sheikh gets state protection and sadhus are being lynched. It is a crime to be a Hindu in West Bengal,” adding that the attackers (in the present incident) were criminals affiliated with the ruling Trinamool Congress. It is again in bad taste to bring in a Muslim name “Shahjahan Sheikh” even when commenting on an incident like present one in which Hindu sadhus were assaulted by Hindu mobs, and Muslims have nothing to do with that, as the official statement of the Superintendent of Police suggests.
Ramlala gameplan of RSS-BJP clan is clear that they want to create a communal wave in the country in the name of the deity and the temple on the eve of Lok Sabha elections in 2024, in which PM Narendra Modi and BJP will be seeking for their third term. It should be noted that VHP, an RSS clan member organization, has been working for a long time among sadhus to bring them into clan’s fold. The Chief Priest of Ayodhya is among them, the temple trust is dominated by VHP members and supporters. They have trained thousands of sadhus in over a decade and deployed them to indirectly campaigning for BJP across the country, in almost all the states.
Those opposition leaders who refuse to follow the hate politics of the RSS-BJP clan have been teased and taunted by Muslim names such as Maulana Mulayam, Mumtaz Khan, or Son’s of Aurangzeb etc. They even enforced them to be defensive, such as Chief Minister Kejriwal had to recite Hanuman Chalisa in public, Rahul Gandhi had to show himself wearing sacred thread or going to a temple, Mamata had to use counter slogan Jai Durga to BJP’s Jai Shri Ram, and so on making a long list.
It is unfortunate for Hindus that they will have to prove that they are really Hindus. It becomes necessary if PM Narendra Modi led RSS-BJP clan refuses them to acknowledge them to be Hindu. Who is under threat then, if even Hindus will need to prove themselves Hindus under RSS-BJP’s rule? RSS-BJP clan is now seen certifying who is Hindu and who is not. Mamata Banerjee is recalled by Chief Priest of Ayodhya by the name of Mumtaz Khan, shows what the danger is lurking for Hindus themselves. (IPA Service)
