Visit the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, which features a variety of literary and cultural events, with a focus on the guest-of-honour country, China. Today, catch a series of film screenings at Black Box Cinema starting at 4pm; get tips on healthy cooking and food with a twist at the Show Kitchen starting at 4pm; and attend talks and panel discussions including One Hundred Books Along the Silk Road, which is about books translated from Chinese to Arabic that highlight relations between the two worlds. Other talks today will be on topics such as alternative music, Emirati women writers and classical Arab music. The fair also includes poetry readings, spoken-word performances and book signings.
