Attend the talk The Archaeological Story of the United Arab Emirates, as part of the Multaqa series presented by Zayed National Museum. Eisa Yousif, of Sharjah Archaeology Authority, and Peter Magee of the Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority, will speak about excavations of Bronze Age tombs on Umm Al Nar Island in the 1950s, and how Sheikh Zayed, the Founding President of the UAE, encouraged excavations that led to a flourishing archaeological study of the UAE.
