Catch a screening of the 1977 Academy Award-winning film Annie Hall, presented by Marc Jacobs, The Magazine Shop and Cinema Akil, as part of a series of events to expose the community to art, culture and literature. Directed by Woody Allen, the film is about Alvy Singer (Allen), a New York comedian suffering a mid-life crisis, who is analysing his relationship with his girlfriend, Annie (Diane Keaton). Catch a screening of Je fais le mort (Playing Dead), a French comedy, as part of the Cine Rendez-Vous outdoor cinema series presented by Alliance Française Al Ain. The 2013 film, directed by Jean-Paul Salome, is about has-been actor Jean (François Damiens), who takes a job playing the victim in homicide reenactments, where he meets a civil officer (Géraldine Nakache) investigating a real-life crime. The film is in French with English subtitles.

Concert

Attend a concert by Wael Jassar in celebration of the 16th anniversary of Marina Mall. The Lebanese singer will be supported by a local band. Additionally, there will be a variety of mall-wide sales and activities for the whole family. Proceeds from the sales of the concert tickets will be donated to Hamad Centre for Special Needs as part of the #YearofGiving initiative and in line with World Autism Awareness Month.
