Star Wars is the classic 1977 sci-fi film written and directed by George Lucas that introduced the world to a galaxy far, far away. The Hidden Fortress was released in 1958 and was directed by Akira Kurosawa. It stars Toshiro Mifune as a general charged with guarding his clan’s princess as they smuggle royal treasure across enemy territory. The film is in Japanese with English subtitles.
