Pop singer Jessie J will serenade passing shoppers with a free performance at a Dubai shopping mall.
The Price Tag singer will be at Mall of the Emirates on Friday (January 20), onstage at 6pm.
It marks an intimate appearance for the British star, who has previously sung to more than 10,000 fans at RedFest DXB in 2014.
The gig is part of the festivities surrounding the annual Dubai Shopping Festival, and will see Jessie appear on the promotional “fashiontainment runway”.
According to press blurb, Jessie J “will” sing Price Tag, Bang Bang and Who You Are – addressed with a certainty which suggests performing these hits has been prescribed as a contractual obligation.
Earlier in the day, Jessie will also meet five lucky fans, chosen from a competition on the mall’s social media pages.
Jessie J is remembered locally for anointing rising UAE star Esther Eden, by inviting her to perform onstage at RedFest, after hearing the teenager sing at a school visit.
