Maryam Al Farsi Gears Up for Paris Olympics 100m Sprint

Maryam Al Farsi, a prominent 17-year-old sprinter, is set to represent the UAE in the 100-meter race at the Paris 2024 Olympics. Following an intensive training regimen in Cairo, Al Farsi will join the UAE delegation in Paris as she prepares for her Olympic debut.

Her training camp in Cairo, which commenced on July 15th, focused on enhancing her speed and agility to compete at the highest level. She will depart for Paris to continue her preparation with the UAE national team, participating in a final round of training sessions before her event on August 2nd at the iconic Stade de France.

Al Farsi’s inclusion in the UAE’s Olympic team is a significant milestone, underscoring the country’s growing emphasis on athletic excellence. The UAE National Olympic Committee has expressed confidence in her potential to achieve remarkable results, reflecting the nation’s broader commitment to supporting and developing its athletes.
