
Samsung has initiated the rollout of the first software update for its Galaxy S25 series, targeting T-Mobile users in the United States. This update introduces seamless background installations, significantly reducing device downtime during the update process. The update, approximately 585 MB in size, also includes the February 2025 security patch, addressing over 40 vulnerabilities. Additionally, it resolves issues such as image banding in low-light photography and enhances overall device stability. Currently, the update is available for carrier-locked devices, with unlocked Galaxy S25 units expected to receive it in the coming days.
The Galaxy S25 series, launched on February 7, 2025, is Samsung’s latest flagship lineup, featuring the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, 12GB of RAM, and AI enhancements through Google’s Gemini assistant. The series includes the Galaxy S25, S25 Plus, and S25 Ultra models, with prices starting at $799.99. Preorders began three weeks ago, with various promotional offers from retailers and carriers.
