DUBAI // A fire broke out on Monday night at the Oceania building on Palm Jumeirah.
Eyewitnesses at the scene said that the fire broke out at 11pm Monday night on what seemed like the upper stories of the building.
Dubai Civil Defence sent an emergency team shortly after the fire erupted and Dubai Media Office tweeted that “the building was safely evacuated and no injuries were reported.”
Mitch Williams, an eyewitness, tweeted shortly after the fire erupted and Dubai Civil Defence appeared on the scene that “Update: the fire is almost completely out due to the swift action from the civil defense team.”
Dubai Media Office said that no injuries were reported.
