The ceremony, held in Pristina, Kosovo’s capital, brought together dignitaries and representatives from various nations to celebrate Kosovo’s independence from Serbia in 1999.

Al Kaabi’s presence at the event underscored the UAE’s commitment to fostering strong diplomatic ties with Kosovo. The two nations have enjoyed a growing relationship in recent years, collaborating on cultural exchange programs and economic development initiatives. Her participation also served as a symbol of the UAE’s support for Kosovo’s ongoing efforts towards international recognition and regional stability.

During the ceremony, President of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani expressed her gratitude for the UAE’s continued support and partnership. She highlighted the importance of international cooperation in promoting peace and prosperity in the Balkans.
