Emirates Red Crescent provides food, medical aid, and winter clothing to Syrian refugees in Jordan

ABU DHABI // The Emirates Red Crescent provided food parcels and winter clothes to a number of Syrian families living in temporary tents at the Emirati-Jordanian camp in the Mafraq Governorate.

The foundation also provided medical care to refugees at the camp’s field hospital.

Abdullah Al Mehrezi, director of the Emirati-Jordanian Camp, said: “the ERC visited the underprivileged and needy families at their residences and provided aid for them in implementation to the Year of Giving initiative, launched by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

“Today, we have decided to provided assistance to these families including medical treatment, food aid and winter clothes,” he said.
