On March 12 U.S. Cellular unveiled the LG K8 (2017) on its online store sporting a price of $49.99. Other U.S. carriers like T-Mobile and MetroPCS had listed the affordable Android handset way before U.S. Cellular.

However, T-Mobile and MetroPCS are retailing the LG K8 (2017) under the name LG Aristro. With U.S. Cellular also on board, consumers will have another option.

What Is US Cellular Offering?

At U.S. Cellular’s online store, the LG K8 (2017) can now be purchased by paying $49.99 on prepay after a discount of $100 online. The handset can also be purchased under several types of instalment plans, namely:

$7.50 per month over a period of 20 months;

$6.25 per month over a period of 24 months; and

 $5 per month over a period of 30 months.

If compared, it can be seen that U.S. Cellular is making it quite easy for the users to purchase LG K8 (2017) as T-Mobile offers LG Aristro at a market price of $144, which is justifiable as the handset comes with better specs compared to LG K8 (2017). The cheapest in the catalog was MetroPCS who is selling the smartphone at a price of $59 after rebate.

Since it is a known fact that the 2017 model of the LG K8 is a mid-range smartphone, the price that U.S. Cellular is quoting should get a thumbs up from consumers. However, unlike T-Mobile and MetroPCS which are offering LG K8 2017 in silver as well as blue options, U.S. Cellular is offering the handset only in blue.

Interested buyers can purchase the phone online by visiting U.S. Cellular’s website.
