But new footage published by Joel E Schaeffer, an aerial cinematographer with Dubai Film, will help refresh your memory. The shots from the sky, taken in 2016, showcase some of the country’s most iconic scenes – dune buggies in the desert, the Dubai skyline at night, the lights on the Palm Jumeirah.
