Police Directorate Reviews Medical Services Progress

Abu Dhabi Police officials recently conducted a comprehensive review of the Medical Services Directorate’s development initiatives. The evaluation aimed to assess the Directorate’s effectiveness in providing high-quality healthcare services to police personnel, their families, and other beneficiaries.

During the review, Major General Khalil Dawood Badran, Director General of Finance and Services at Abu Dhabi Police GHQ, emphasized the department’s unwavering commitment to enhancing the caliber of medical care offered. He highlighted the leadership’s dedication to equipping the Directorate with the latest technology and attracting highly qualified medical professionals.

The review acknowledged the Directorate’s significant strides in recent years. A key achievement was the establishment of a modern general medicine and dental clinic, complete with advanced x-ray equipment, examination rooms, and a dedicated minor operations unit. These additions significantly expanded the range of services available to patients.

Officials highlighted ongoing efforts to expand services offered at Punitive Reformatory Establishments and the Al Mafraq Juvenile Care Center. This ensures comprehensive healthcare access for all individuals under Abu Dhabi Police jurisdiction.

Investment in human capital was another area lauded during the review. The Directorate’s dedication to staff development was recognized, with emphasis placed on programs offering scholarships and training opportunities.
