ABU DHABI // Forecasters warned of fog and mist over most of the Western Region on Wednesday morning.

The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology in the capital said satellite images indicated much of Al Gharbia, including the Al Dhafra and Al Hamra areas, were affected by fog formation in the early hours.

The rest of the country is expected to have fair to partly cloudy weather throughout Wednesday with light to moderate winds becoming fresh during the afternoon and evening.

Coastal areas should see maximum temperatures of 27°C while reaching 30°C inland and 22°C in the mountains.

Temperatures could fall as low as 5°C in the mountains, 11°C inland and 15°C along the coast.

The relative humidity is forecast to increase at night and in the early morning on Wednesday night and into the weekend.

Conditions in the Arabian Gulf are expected become rough in the afternoon and will be slight to moderate in the Oman Sea.
