ABU DHABI // It will be a pleasant Christmas Day with fair to partly cloudy weather predicted.

However, forecasters at the weather bureau urged caution as strong winds on the coast could cause the sea to be rough during the day.

Wind speed around coastal areas may reach up to 36 kilometres per hour in a south-easterly to north-easterly direction. In the interior, it will be 32 kilometres.

Fog and mist could form on Sunday, especially in the Western Region. Humidity level may reach up to 95 percent in the coastal and internal parts, whereas in the mountains it may go up to 70 percent.

The minimum temperature recorded over the mountains was 7°C. In the interior, temperatures are expected to hover around 28°C, and on the coast it will be 31°C.
