KAZAN, 13th June, 2023 (WAM) – Rustam Minnikhanov, President of Tatarstan, met with the UAE’s delegation participating in the International Forum of Education Ministers in Kazan, which is held under the patronage of Vladimir Putin, President of Russia.
During his meeting with the UAE delegation to the forum, led by Eng. Mohammed Al Qassim, Director-General of the Emirates Schools Establishment (ESE), Minnikhanov emphasised the depth of relations between the republics of the Russian Federation, including the Republic of Tatarstan, and the UAE in many strategic areas, including education.
He expressed hope for continued cooperation and coordination between the two sides to serve the two countries’ national priorities and future aspirations.
For his part, Al-Qassim discussed the most salient aspects of the UAE educational system, outlining its role in fulfilling the nation’s future ambitions in a number of different domains by producing generations that are empowered and capable of maintaining the development the UAE has attained in a number of different areas.
